Kelo Lodges

The first Kelo Lodge was introduced at Hoddom Castle in 2012. This has been specifically built for Hoddom. The main building is a traditional Finnish Kota, finished inside with a handmade bed from Lapland made from kelo wood.

The kelo lodges have a 6'6" king size bed with a single bunk bed for upto two small children with room underneath to bring your own camping bed.

The whole building has 50mm of king span insulation, including the roof and floor. The windows are double glazed and a heating system is also supplied, to keep you warm, whatever the weather throws at you.

A double electric socket will be in each lodge for charging of accessories.

All you need to bring is sleeping bags and pillows or either a king size sheet and your own duvet if you want to feel more at home. You will also need your usual cooking equipment such as pots, pans, cutlery and mugs.

The lodges are situated on the end of the camping field. It is about 60 yards to the shower and toilet block.

Kelo Lodge 1 is dog friendly and has a king size bed with mattress.

Lodges to sleep 3-4

Kelo Lodges 2, 3 & 4 are dog friendly and have a king size bed with mattress & a bunk with mattress, which is head height and sleeps upto two small children. Underneath the bunk there is enough room if you wish to bring your own camping bed.

You will need your own bedding, pillows etc.

There is a non refundable deposit to be paid when you book a Kelo Lodge and cancellation must be 7 days before arrival date.

Arrival is between 2pm and 6pm and departure is by 11am.
